I'm planning on buying a 300 in the near future but am a bit worried about buying a car that is over ten years old. I know the old s13 200sx's are getting quite rusty aroung the tailgates etc, so where should I be looking specifically on the 300.

Thanks for any advice

heres a bit of advice, buy mine!!!

where abouts in kent are you marcos?

there are a lot of rough uns out there, buying a members car which cas been lovingly looked after is a good idea.

& FFS someone buy Scoops' car!!! :D

Be patient and stick to the spec you want, one will turn up. Mine took months to find, glad I waited though, plenty of dogs out there.

Also, Nissans wear their age well. I've only even owned 10+ yr old Nissans and they've never let me down and at the end of their life depreciation is tiny. Buy a new Cav or Mondeo (or any Citroen, or any new car in fact)and watch your money dissapear.

TBH - bodywork should be the least of your worries. you should make sure that the engine is pucka because that's where the majority of your money will go if you have problems. A rspray can cost you up to £1200, engine work can be unlimited if you dont get it right.

I bought mine nearly 3 years ago and she has done me proud. Maintenance is the key. ;)

Did I mention that mine is for sale. :D
