I have a 92 TT jap import, bought it a few months ago and the cruise was not working (not that it matters).

I was told that as it has been de restricted and this is the reason??

...has a greddy speed limiter cut controller in the passenger footwell...fuse is OK

All lights come on when you switch it on so any ideas as if its there it may as well be working!!

Appreciate your help!

You have pedal safety sensors that work on a simple spring plunger, give the nut 1/2 a turn to give presure on the switch's.............Jobs a good'n.

Checked that...working fine even though I turned it in same problem.

Not a lot of room in the footwell though!!!

Anyone got any other ideas?

Auto or manual? There's a kill switch on the clutch pedal too ;)

ive got the same problem take the switch out and test it properly with a multimeter, i did, and mines fooked, to confirm i took it appart and its broken inside.

The switch works fine and after 1/2 hour or so of being in the footwell I got the switch out and tested it on a multimeter, works fine.

The car is auto so cant see any others there to worry about.

Thanks?

Silly question, but does your horn work, would you believe that the horn activate wire is routed through the ascd (auto speed control device ) on the steering wheel.

I had same problem a few weeks ago, found broken wire just under the horn relay, now they both work OK

it does but....the wiring could be at fault...good idea...will check it through!

As i said, the cruise light works so it must be something simple(?)
