damn hicas

both rear wheels can be wiggled quite easily when they're in the air. I've read loads and it seems to be the inner or outer part of the HICAS arms. How can I confirm which one it is?

Featured Replies

look at the rear arms while someone shakes the wheel side to side. you will see the movement either at the joint pressed into the hub, or where the link arm bolts to the rack (covered by a rubber boot)

thank Paul - it moves at the Hub on both sides :(

are they a pain to do?

i was thinking about this but even with a hicas eliminator you still need the hicas arms...

unless something like this will sort it all out ;)

& you still need the bushes in the hubs too ;)

guesss they'd help too as they seem to be FUBAR'd on mine!

Don't suppose there's a guide to changing them is there? Or is it a case of getting new bushes from MJP and dropping it off at a garage :(

I took out the hicas and swapped one of the arm for a stillen one, replaced all the bushes why i was there.

Works a treat.
