What do you do with the standard recircs?

Not fitted them ive got the apexi twin chamber bovs, very loud!! granny scarers ;)

 

You remove the recircs and blank one of the pipes (usually supplied with the new kit) and fit the new ones no probs about an hours work

I had some turbo XS bovs which replaced the recircs and blocked a pipe.

 

These are different

All your doing in that case is blocking up both sets of pipes where the recircs go and plumbing the bovs into the top pipes. Ive still got some pipes thats have been t pieced ready for bovs if you want them but there not bling just normal ones, if you want bling ones then ask smithy to get some altered to have your bovs fit straight onto them :)

Cheers Kirbz, I havent got them yet - just thinking of getting them.

So If I got them, I would have to block both bottom pipes and remove the recircs.

 

I think they have the T-flange built on to them so I would just cut the top pipes and plug them in.

The Turbo XS ones come with adapters to fit in the stock location or on the top pipes so why change?

Mine didnt

One of the Turbo XS doesnt seem as strong as the other - even using more washers so I thought Id go for top mounted BOVs.

I have put the original recircs back in place.

I just wondered if I fitted top mounted bovs would I have to junk my recircs and block them off or would I leave them in too as I presume It would reach the top BOV and dump to atmosphere before it reached the recircs.
