Took the zed out for a spin for the first time in over a month yesterday and it seemed very juddery. Any ideas what could be causing it? Its like the wheels are out of balance, but they aint gonna get out of balance sitting in a drive.

Cheers

Scotty,

all i can think of to check mate is, Wheel balance/ camber...or you may of got a flat spot on the tyres where it has sat for a month mate, then if it is on braking then ya might have warped disc's....just a couple of ideas mate.

Matt

Tyre pressures! Z very sensitive to these.

Plus all three my of my engines have been noticably fussy if car has stood for a week - sorts itself out after a heating/cooling cycle. I've no idea why, I'm guessing condensation in all sorts of places...

Engine is runnin sweet as. It has been run regularly. Sorted tyre pressures before i left.

Play in the steering rack or play in the hicas?

Try jacking up the front and see if there is any movement. Then also try the back.

When you say juddery are you feeling it through the steering or the braking?

I see you say the engine is sweet so can only be brake/steering suspension...although 1 monthe should not be a prob....has some :xxx: undone yer wheelnuts?

If the steering wheel shakes its the front wheels, if the car shakes, its the rear wheels, probably. Should allow you to narrow it down a bit.

Reckon its the front wheel. Defo not the hicas. I aint got hicas. Ill try to have a better look at it tomorrow.

Cheers for the help guys
