Does any one know if the 240sx throtle body fits straight onto the Z32, also does anyone know of any websites to get two of them?

no i dont think it does.

And your sig is incredibly huge, you should tone it down a bit, a third of the size maybe.

are you sure, i heard it does, and thus increases lower end BHP and Torque,

how about this sig

has anyone machined a larger bore on thier bodies?

Yes they have but it is not worth doing until you get to 500+bhp and even then it only releases a few more bhp!

i want to increase the acceleration below 3000rpm, before the tubs kick in

Might be way out on a limb here, but increasing the throttle bodies size would only be worthwhile if you where to port the plenum to teh same size. You can make whatever you want larger but as soon as it goes back down to the same diam that the size you get.

NOS ??

under drive pulley and disconnect the air con lighter flywheel ???

advance the cam timing ?

What mods have you got already and maybe we can steer you in the right direction?

Increasing the throttle body size may decrease acceleration below three thousand, as it can decrease the velocity of the intake air!

exactly. everyone always thinks the way forward is to increase the size of everything on the intake, heads, valves etc.

unless you know what you are doing then you can loose power!! you can effect the swirl in the combustion chamber which is no good, & remember - increasing anything on the intake to the point where it is beneficial when actually needed (ie big turbos) will cause more lag!! as there is a larger volume of air to compress!

Some of the american blokes are making big single throttle intakes, but early results aren't looking good. Too much low end power loss.

doesnt suprise me john, theres a lot more to an inlet manifold than having a large TB!!!

Damn. There goes another excuse to take a blast over to Leon's workshop in Wrexham! BTW Nice sig bud... ;)

Yeah, think the problem is probably that they can't get a long enough tract length in there without making it huge. Will be interesting to see if they can sort it. I'd thought about trying some trumpets of DCOE's internally.

Guess the JUN car was OK as they were going for all out power and didn't care about response as someone on the yank site pointed out.
