check out the today show on radio 4 tomorrow from 6am onwards or via the website as they are having one of the worlds leading authorities on statistics on air.....and he is doing speed cameras and speed humps...do they or dont they work....the truth will out....!!

Research by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency indicates that air pollution within the home can be up to 70 times higher than outside!

 

It is believed that a dangerous cocktail of chemicals created by dry-cleaned clothes, air fresheners, cigarette smoke and chlorinated water, combined with household dust-mites and their excrement are probably the main factors behind the asthma epidemic — not the car.

Just thought I'd add in this bit of trivia - I work for Johnsons Dry Cleaners....free plug....we are moving away from chorinated solvents for silicone based fluids, the only company in the UK to do so - its expensive stuff but its all in aid of helping the environment. We have about 20 branches so far using it - its called 'Green Earth'
