Has anyone got one fitted, if so how does it perform.

Iam removing both the mech pump and the viscose fan, to gain an extra 200 brake. :) .

I have a glossy with different spec pumps to choose from. So any feedback would be appreciated :duffer:

Dave why get rid of the water pump you would gain almost nothing as regards the fan Stu (SMW1) removed his and saw no real improvment either ;)

Without trying to state the obvious. The pump adds extra load on the crank and the viscose fan well thats obvious,

I already have a twin lecky fan to bolt on to the rad. removing the viscose will give me more room under the bonnet, quiet down the engine, reduce load, better response, better mpg. That why most other performance cars have lecky instead of viscose.

Alot of the big power cars are using electric instead of mech.

Dave , well aware of the theory mate  but what I am saying is the cost's involved far outweigh the gain imho, your torque figure will be a little better but I bet there would be less than 10bhp gained overall , would also be interesting to see what temp you will be running at as the hotter the car gets the more the maps retard the timing , so therefore if you run at 95 as opposed to 80 degrees your timing would have be retarded so all gains would have been lost
