Have any of you out there bought anything from the states, is it straightforward or are there hidden charges or pitfalls?

Hey ZAZ

I'm always buying stuff from the states and I've never had a problem with any of it, I've used courtesy nissan and a suspension place and got great service from both. Most of the time even with VAT, import tax and all that bollocks it still works out cheaper than buying over here, you just need to do the sums!

I would highly recommend Phuong, GR Racing.
