Wasn't it something like The Jamms or The Timelords. I know at one point they had something to do with The Justified ancents of Mu Mu.

Rich:)

Your love, the original version, by The Prodigy... Now that IS an all time classic :D

Anyone remember dream frequency? LOL

Before they were the KLF, they were the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu. And they drove an ice-cream van. They were justified, and they were ancient, and I hope you understa-a-a-a-and...

...more on THAT story later. :D

Has anyone (attempted to) read Drummond's novel? It's sort of like Breakfast of Champions only not as good.

And for bonus points, name the source of BOTH band names (and one or two of their lyrics.)

N-Joi are the Daddy, no question!

jimmy caulty (KLF) lives in brighton now and sells art with a friend of mine...i sold a couple of his prints in december that i got for nothing....and in a curious twist i worked in music publishing with the engineer on the KFL tunes a guy call Paul Bloom...those KLF guys were and are extremely weird...imagine burning a million £....!!

oh the KLF were called the JAM's on a few white labels did a "whip me whitney houston mega-mix i recall....hahaha

cant say where the names for KFL/JAM's came from but i did hear that the KLF stood for nothing at all...just some trippy oddness that got the music hacks all steamed up....i can say that the girl in N-joi's record anthem went on to be Saffron in Republica....i will add a top tune...Richie Rich...Salsa House...captures all that is best in DJ based records during the 80's-90's

who's been on the last train to transcentral ?

what time is love ? neway ?

Ask him how Hagbard Celine's getting on then...

The letters 'KLF' stood for many things, which changed many times throughout their life-span. The first documented occurrence is in 1987, when the moniker 'Kopyright Liberation Front' was mentioned on their record releases. But over the years up to the 1992 retirement, they always got asked this question in interviews and were always making up new names. One much-quoted line is "We're on a quest to find out what it means. When we find out, we can stop what we're doing now." Various examples of these names are: 'Kings of the Low(er) Frequency', 'Kool Low Frequency', 'Keep Looking Forward', 'Kevin Likes Fruit' and so on, but the usually accepted definition is 'The Kopyright Liberation Front'.

The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu came from the Illuminatus books.
