run the diagnostics on the o2 sensors - see the manual. You can get diagnostic mode with the pot on the ecu box or by shorting 2 terminals in the connector under the rhs dashboard.

Mine had a lazy nearside one and the connector at the back of the plenum was loose - the one with the red black and white wires going into it. Cleaned it up and fine after.

and they cost about £100 each from Nissan - so you want to be sure its not a connector thats got some oxide in it - a ten plus year old Z has loads of connectors like that around the engine.

This won't help you at the present time but I - DTA-Motorsport (UK) - will be selling brand new O2 sensors for roughly half to two-thirds the price that Nissan quotes. We've got the correct sensors and just need to source the correct connectors and we're off! My guess is that it will be another month before this is sorted completely and ready for sale. Stay tuned - news to be posted on the website and in our trade section on this forum.

Hope the clean up has sorted your problem.

Regards,

Danny
