Steering problem has now got worse. At any speed now as I turn the wheel it's really notchy and jerks as you turn the wheel. It feels like light-heavy-light-heavy all the time. It's getting a little dangerous now. When i corner/overtake I have to heave the car only for it to go light all of a sudden and I have to correct my own movements!

Someone please help.

Dunno if you have done this but have you changed to speed sensor? Sorry if this is an ongoing thing and you've already done it.

Checked the steering UJ?

Hmmm dont think it's the sensor because it does it at all speeds. Speedo reading seems ok. It feels mechanical.

Andy - hello mate. How do I check the U.J? I can get the car in the air easy enough. Do I need to be under the car?

Ivan

check the fluid

Yeah you need to be under the car. Its pretty much next to the oil filter. Not sure of the best way to check it but it may have a rough spot in its travel... Just a thought...
