Owners manual

Hi,

I've made a start on translating the less-obvious bits of the Japanese owners manual I got with my 300, but obviously its pretty slow going. Anyone know if this task has already been done, and/or whether there's an easy source of brit owners manuals, translated or native?

Thanks,

Raz

Raz,

Is it the owners manual or workshop manual that you are after?

If its the owners manual then just call Nissan UK and they will send you a copy. Tell them you have a UK spec car if they ask. There are a few differences.

Bob,

Thanks but its just the owner's manual I'm after -- though, I might take you up on that soon, since my arrangement to get the paper workshop manual might have fallen through =(

Andy, is there a 'central office' to call, or would I just pester the local Nissan dealer?

Raz

Go to the local Nissan Dealer, if they get picky and want a chassis number let me know, you can use mine!

I called Nissan UK. I spoke to customer services or something like that. They didn't even ask for a chassis no or anything like that. Like Bob said, use his if they ask. It was 'No problem sir we will send one out to you' I couldn't believe it. Call directory enquiries and ask for Nissan UK.

Thanks Andy, Bob.

I gave them a call but the jobsworth on the other end wasn't interested. Told me to get one as a part from a dealer. I'll try again sometime and see if someone better answers =)

I got a UK Owners Manual a couple of weeks ago - before I saw the possibility of a free one - from Nissan Dealer Ancaster in Croydon for £15 + vat. Have got a few things from them, and Dave in Parts has been very helpful.

One item was a Maintenance Record book (£5 + vat) to start some history for my Jap import.

If a translation is available, I would be very interested as there are differences(e.g. what is S.F.C.??)

I can recommend Bob's CD offer for the Workshop Manual - I will have to upgrade soon to power all this documentation around!!
