So what it's saying is that when doing the boost test you can only pressurise the system to 5psi? Even though the stock system is 9psi?

    yes, cause youre pressurising the whole intake from the MAS connector back. the intake is only pressurised from the outlet side of the turbo onwards under normal running ;)
