rite my car is pretty sh****d at the mo the rear steering rack thingy snapped clean in half on sunday nite and warranty company is refusing to pay out as the damage is over the value of 1000 notes (1750 to be exact)

or so the garage reckon :rolleyes: any ideas on what to do guys and gals any help would be greatly appreciated

I'd get a quote elsewhere!

As I said earlier bud - tell them the car was in a dangerous condition (it clearly was :mad: ) and not fit for purpose.

craig, your description is a bit vague but is quite possible that the part that has broken on your zed is the inner knuckle on the hicas arm( seen it before), this is not too expensive, if however it is even the whole steerring ram then a couple of hundred would sort it out, not too bad even if you have to pay yourself.

 

2nd hand parts are available from Andy Z etc on this forum
