Im considering turning my bonnet into one big flag :)

It really pisses you off to be a Scotsman living in England with all these (GRRRRRRRR) English flags flapping about everywhere ;), but like my (English) wife says, if I don't like it what am I doing living here....

I still never really understand this. I remember watching the World Cup in 1978 when Scotland qualified and England didn't and watching them beat Holland 3-1. I supported Scotland during that World Cup.

 

I supported the Republic during the World Cup in the USA.

 

So why is it that the Scots always want England to lose, whoever they happen to be playing? :slap:

not me ill be supporting the bosch as im half german and cant stand football anyway so chanting for germany pisses all my lads off at work and gives me more evil satisfaction

Next door are Scottish too, but with bigger lads- they are the ones who go in wearing the England tops to their dad's displeasure.

I seem to remember me, you and the ginger fella watched England V Germany on that huge projector screen where you work. It was a couple of years ago now bud so my memory fails me as to what the score was that day but im sure one of the teams managed to bag 5 :dance: :dance:

We have the Scots to thank for the English rediscovering their "Englishness".

 

Before Euro '96 we always thought of ourselves as "British" first. That pi$$es of the Scots so we had to get the England flags out.

Yep this is TRUE....if the flag covers any of the windows it can be a straight £2k fine for obscuring the vision of the driver.... :rolleyes:

No, the Daily Mail will make up any old story about a proposal to cancel Christmas Day - and yet mysteriously on Decemeber 25th there will still be presents under the tree. Even MORE mysteriously people will STILL buy the Daily Fail on Boxing Day.
