I don't think you're getting grief, because you want to sell it on the z-club website, you've just indadvertantly re-opened a wider question of whether we should have a separate section for non-Z related items that are for sale. And this is only because one of the members reported the post. In the past, other members have moaned about increasingly diverse objects appearing in the for sale section .. which does have a clearly defined usage policy.

 

As I mentioned in my post, almost everyone who's tried to answer the senior member of the club who reported your post (and we had to do that) has said that "yes, we do want to see non-z related items for sale" and even more so in the case of your S12, cos it's something we're all likely to be interested in and it is a performance Nissan.

 

I agree that the bloke who questioned your peformance figures went a bit OTT with his criticism, but it has been entertaining and interesting to read. I don't even know if he's a subscribed member of the club. At the end of the day, a lively thread like that makes a change on a site that can be as quiet as a graveyard.

 

I can't see any evidence of a personal attack on you, or any evidence of elitism wrt to the sale of Silvia ZX (although you can't deny, it isn't a model that the club caters for). I don't think it's an elitist club, the people I've met have all been friendly and helpful, otherwise I wouldn't pay my subs at the end of the day.

 

I wouldn't take any of what's been said there personally ... :)
