I see that MJP are flogging Mongoose exhausts for £450 + VAT. I know a couple of people here either have or had these exhausts, any opinions ?

 

I know that Hairsy's motor, with a few other mods, was knocking out 432 bhp, so they can't be much of a restriction. Are they well made, reasonably quiet (without being boring) and value for money, or is there something much better in a similar price range ? I'll probably also be junking the cats at the same time ...

 

Just a thought, what diameter tubing is the Mongoose exhaust ?

Actually any pre K reg car doesnt have to have the CATs on if it was originally made with them on. I read the poster in my local MOT garage. K reg and over if original spec had CATs by law must still have CATs now
