If you car has been chipped then the limiter will probably have been removed, or if you have a km/h-mph converter then the limiter will have been moved from 180km/h to 180mph. A UK spec car is limited to 155mph as standard.

ok providing the cars been chipped, does that automaticaly act as a delimiter therefor not needing to buy a delimiter blackbox thingy ma jig and if i replace the kph dials and replaced them with mph dials will it then read in mph if that doesent sound stupid

secondly how do i find out if the cars been chipped?do i get an after market boost gauge, and if it reads higher than what stock should then the cars certainly chipped ? :)

only way to see if the car is chipped is to crack open the ECU and have a look. I think the conZult might tell you also. Because its chipped doesnt necessarily mean the boost is increased, it is independant of the ECU.

this was the case with mine, the car had not been chipped but the limiter was no longer 112 mph
