Drum and bass round town...

Something a bit more mellow at high speeds, like Orbital... can't beat "Petrol" for a spot of B-road driving - there's a reason it's on the original Wipeout sound track.

If I really want something to inspire me on a dash down a good bit of road it has to be Chemical Beats every time. (Mind you, driving really hard I don't usually have any music on at all.)

Sometimes it just seems like a Talking Heads kind of day when blasting round the Lakes though!

Long m-way drives I usually have some sort of speech radio on - R4/5/TalkSport

Friday night it has to be Pete Tong.

Driving home from the office I usually have Century Legends on.

Haven't we done this thread before?

very good choice i like everything from THeads to rhythm and blues to punk (decent stuff not thrashy noise) and Jimi Hendrix is good to drive the zed too(and most anything else come to think of it)

Drum And Bass, sorry guys, but i been in love with that kinda music for years, since the early 90's :D

Some dark DnB booming out the car, going nice and steady through town, can see kiddies cry, evil car :)

A man after my own heart.

The other day I decided to nip down to Eton post office to post out some dvds. I double parked on Eton hight street while the blondie lunchbreak co-driver ;) nipped in to do the honours, blondie jumped back in the car (drum and bass playing). Meanwhile there was a large gang of students (foreign I think) walking on the other side of the road. One of the lads was just staring at the car or maybe the girl and couldnt take his eyes off it. You can guess what happened next eh! You're right- walked straight into a lampost. I think I heard the gong as his head bounced off it. Poor lad was so dazed, he staggered out into the road and nearly got side swiped by a bus!

I think the poor lad was very embarrased :o - we were laughing and all his mates too.

Just another instance of the zed effect

Thats funny! people just seem to want to scratch and dent mine and knock the wing mirrors out. Maybe they just don't like pearl white?.

But 2 miles away, leaving the car in the Slough maccy D car park- a different story. Even the Mums with pushchairs look like evil fookers!

Rock/Punk/Psycho/Indie/Motown/Ska etc....

Anything rockin' really, whatever takes me fancy!

Particularly partial to a bit of White Zombie : ''Supercharger Heaven''

does it for me....awesome tune. The list goes on & on!!

At the momet I'm on a bit of a country 'thing'

A bit of widdy-widdy-widdy-widdy-widdy-widdy-widdy-widdy-BOOOOOOOOMMM always goes down a treat as well though too.
