That was the first one I bought! One of the last too! (well, after I won a set of 4 Toyo tyres!! :D )

My favorites used to be SuperBike and Performance Bike, very informative, very intelligent and funny as fook! (SuperBike changed in the early '90's and went back to showing good ol' titties again! ;) )

Don't read many mags now, too expensive, too bland, too moronic, too dull, too much free hardcore porn to look at on the internet!! :D :hyper: :D

LMFAO :)

I also like...

Fast Car

Redline

Evo

Top Gear

Banzai

Jap Perfomance

and Grannies with Massive Jugs and shaven havens! ROFLMAO :)

Jazz all the way! :)

Tim are you the more discerning Mayfair or Penthouse reader, I had you or more of a Razzle reader :D:D

Owt top shelf matey, Fiesta...now there's a Jazz mag...readers wives! LMFAO :)

Oh and you lot, don't slag off the Max Power and Fast Car type of mags...you get loadsa free stuff nowadays when you make a purchase! ROFL :) Like the alluminium valve caps for the tyres I got from Redline a while back. They did say to spray some WD-40 in them before application but did I do that? NO! Could I get them f\/ckers off? NO! So had to get the old faithful WD out and got them off...needless to say they got thrown straight away. ROFL :)

LMFAO :)

Free ceramic-straighteners or thinning scissors would ensure a life-long subscription then? :)

Only car mag I buy regularly is Evo - good writing and it's not Maxxed.

"Car" is a bit dry but I bought last month's for the RX8 article.

Most of the others are dross IMHO... Jap Performance Mag has the odd interesting car in it.

I also buy When Saturday Comes - not cars but defintely boys' toys!

By the time you've read that lot and whatever book and the paper every other day it's the next month again so not worth buying anything else. Although sometimes a Private Eye or a New Scientist helps to pass a long journey.

Subscribed to Evo and sometimes buy Japanese Performance.

Can't do with the teenage Max Perv mags

I'd rather download proper porn when I need it :xxx:

Anyone else see Practical Performance Car magazine this month with the Zed buying guide? 300zx.co.uk gets a name-check and it features a members car.

Also quite a good begineers guide to turbos that I found interesting but no titties. :(

David

:D another new scientist reader :D

Buy banzai or JP now and again if I spot something interesting.

Why do people not like Car then?

It's a bit pipe and slippers I think, except whatisname, the big bloke with a goatee, he's alright.

I used to buy lotsa different car mags but their so bloody expensive. Now i just buy jap performance(5 page feature of my Z) ;) :) , and nick the rest of me mates wen theyve finished with em. Lot cheaper that way! :D

Have a sub to EVO but that's it now, used to have subs to Jap Performance and Pratical Classics.

Do you count Car Club Magazines, because if that's the case then I also get The Courier (TSSC) and Sprint (TVRCC)?

Tim

Timmy! Max fookin power!!!! NO mate....listen to me...............nooooooooooo........:D

And Macca, what the hell r u doin in it? If they asked to feature my car when its done, I'd tell them to feck off!!

Tim are you the more discerning Mayfair or Penthouse reader, I had you or more of a Razzle reader :D:D

Yea, I see Timmy as a Razzle man too, and it would probabally be a second hand copy too, if you know what I mean! ;)

Max is the biggest selling motoring mag in the country.

I think they shift about 215,000 copies a month.

And they say each one is read by three people so thats...three quarters of a million people!

I work in the same office where it's made (EMAP Automotive). I do bike mags.

I've been buying Max Power since it first came out! IMHO there is nothing wrong with it, Macca's spread was ace!

Nice to have young kids coming upto me at petrol stations shortly after that article went out saying "Was that your car in Max Power?" of course I said "No, it was me best mates car, mine just looks like it!" ROFL :)

I always turn to inside back page first for the 'pink or brown' question. Don't tell Mrs David though!

Max is a top mag for what it is.

Yeah and especially when you get some dumb bitch who doesn't understand the questions! ROFLMFAO :)

The worst bit about Max Power is the way they write the articles...........:D

When Tim first got the Nova last year it was a stocker, but that wouldnt last cos when Tim modifies his ride he mods it to the MAX. First on the shopping list was an angle grinder to cut 60mm of the coil springs to achive that 'slammed' look and a set of 165 rubbers at each corner really filled those arches out nicely. Tim however still wasn't happy, "whats the point in cruisin if you havent got the crucial tunes he said", so of it went to Halfords and one audiolone 50 watter and a pair of goodmans shelfies later Tim had no problem pumpin out those phat bass notes. But Tim wasn't going to stop there..oh no, he was only just getting started. Feeling that the Nova was all show and no go, he spoke to Dave Drivel at Pap Performance who recomended a K&N airfilter to give us a healthy power increase and the tyre shreading performance we were after. "It certainly did the trick" Tim said "I had it on some wet grass the other day and it spun through the box no problem" he told us. This was proven unfortunatly by a speeding ticket for Tim when he took on a scooby, "I didnt realize it was an unmarked rozzer" Tim laughed, "He couldnt catch us round the twisties though, but I nearly sh*t when I saw the blue light come on" explained Tim. Sadly tim was clocked doing 89 mph but there was "loads left" he told us. Gladly this episode hasn't put Tim off Max'in his motors, a carbon fibre air freshener, chrome tailpipe and neon washer jets are just some of the plans for the Nova when Tim gets 2 gold stars on his McDonalds badge. So Keep lookin in that rear view folks cos theres a mean mutha of a Nova comin to a cruise near you.
