why then do the huntspeople BREED foxes ?! This is a FACT.
Like a lot of these things, it depends on who you listen to. Who says it's a fact?

I have never heard of huntspeople breeding foxes FFS ....

Where on earth did you drag that one from Nelson?

Cos then they don't have to chase a fox thru a council estate, as a majority of them now live in suburban woodlands and within city areas.

but thats not my point. Point is the fox hunting debate is a smokescreen for people to get worked up at so-called 'snobs'. and the fact that animals rip apart other animals. fact of life. Why don't these very same people who bleat about fox hunting spend their time on something useful like doing something constructive. Like marching for tougher sentencing on paedophiles, child cruelty, murders, rapists, burglars. Why? I'll tell you why. because it requires effort and nothing brings out the sense superiority in people in being able to demean 'snobs' something to talk about with other socialite-socialists over dinner. that isn't too disturbing/hard work/meaningful.

Wheres the large marches for banning fishing? people run fish farms & lakes solely for fishing. and they get whackin great jaggy metal ripped thru their eyeballs & so on?

cos its not got a fluffy tail.. aawwwwwww.

there's a difference between killing to eat and killing for sport - I agree sport fishing is also cruel though.

I think ppl find it hard to understand why ppl can ENJOY chasing a poor outnumbered fox to it's death. It just seems bloody cruel and makes ppl question the minds of those who enjoy it. I think lots of things in nature are cruel, but I wouldn't actively want to encourage or see them for pleasure.

Why do people with lots of money not do more interesting/cultured things with their time & money ??

Why don't they just shoot the foxes then? Granted it would be more difficult to shoot a trout! ROFLMFAO :)

Now theres a well said point. and there is a lot in there that I agree with! but to these people it is a tradition and they do as strange as it may be to us, enjoy it. (I catch a fish I eat it, unless it's too small and I put it back)

Fox hunting will fade away eventually over the years. my point is compared to a lot of more important issues it is totally meaningless and nothing more than a political smokescreen and an excuse for a lot of people to think that they are 'doing something important'

Even if I was minted & hoity toity I personally think I wouldn't be interested in fox hunting. there is no need to reactionarily 'ban' fox hunting. all it would do is put a lot of peoples livelihoods at stake. It is the kind of thing that will fade out eventually & in the reality affects no-one other than officially designated vermin - foxes. (it is encouraged ecologically & environmentally to exterminate vermin)

How does a troop of well off people using a pack of dogs to kill some vermin 150 miles away affect some social studies teacher in the middle of london? how about the corruption, crime & poverty that is rife 1 mile away, or the complete disorder that is her classroom?

There is the failing NHS, the failing justice system, the issue that pension funds have been dishonestly inflated and scammed to buggery, the war in Iraq, the failing armed forces, the interfearence in peoples everyday lives, the massive taxation racket, the failure of all government departments on all levels, corruption, incompetence, lies, more lies, cover-ups, but don't worry about any of that, lets concentrate on the poor furry foxes!! :xxx:

Why don't they just shoot the foxes then? Granted it would be more difficult to shoot a trout! ROFLMFAO :)

Apparently because a large proportion of the foxes don't die immediately when shot with a shotgun, but slowly bleed to death over the course of the next few hours or days.

If Labour want to show that they really are against animal cruelty, and aren't just picking on those it knows won't support Labour anyway, they could start by banning the traditional method of slaughter of animals to produce halal and kosher meat and insist that the animals are stunned before their throats are cut.

What are you? A facking RACIST or something!!?? :D  ;)

Eh WTF? I know damn well that if I'd just tried to waste summat furry with a shotgun I would have the decency to go over to it, give it a kick and make sure it was brown bread! FFS! So not checking it's toast? That's just as inhumane IMHO! ;)

That's exactly the point. You can't suggest that sort of thing or you are accused of being racist. :( I'm not and no I don't vote for the BNP before someone suggests it! ;)

The fact is that the animals can be stunned before they are slaughtered and still be classified as halal or kosher, so what's the justification for allowing the non-"cruelty free" option?

I think the point is that if you shoot a fox with a shotgun and don't kill it, there's a decent chance it'll run away rather than wait around for you to come and kick it! :xxx: ;)

Hmmmmm, here's an idea........ instead of giving all our darling little teenage delinquents trainers/CD's/holidays, lets give them a fox fur coat and send them to the countryside for a break ;)

grrrrr pi55es me off, ban fishing for sport as well then. I don't fox hunt and I do fish.

Wheres the difference? none!

Fox hunting they get 80-100 dogs to chase a fox for hours until it is so tired that the dogs catch them and they are ripped to bits alive.

Fishing, a magot on a hook where when the fish is caught 95% of fishers put it in a basket and then let it free afterwards.

Thats the difference.

The fish lives and fox is ripped apart after several hours of being chased.

But they say it for pest control, but why do you need 20 stuck up people riding horses and 80 or so dogs to catch 2-3 foxes if you are lucky? They dont do that when killing rats, which are real pests.

Well be a better shot then FFS! You'd have to be Elmer fookin' Fudd to miss a fox with a 12 bore...LMFAO :)

Especially if I could kill a sparrow (when I was about 16) from about 100 yards with an AirArms MO FO air rifle...twas well upset when I CHECKED it and found that I'd been more lucky than Lee Harvey Oswald with my shot from my bedroom window! ROFL :)

Oh, and by the way, I off as many foxes as I can, whenever I can! I live in a busy built-up suburb of West London and foxes are bloody EVERYWHERE. They are filthy, noisey vermin!

If I look out of my living room window it's not at all unusual to see at least 15-20 of the little shits in broad daylight! They even attacked my cat and caused me to have to pay over £500 in vets bills for the operations it needed!

Sod 'em, there are more important things to worry about.

Yeah Stu, for once I concurr bud.

Anyway, who the f\/ck decides what is and what isn't vermin? Oh and as for foxes ripping chickens apart, well shut them clucking MO FO's up at night then like most people I know who keep them do. Common sense really, foxes are hunters aswell, nature! Oh and if fox hunting is necessary to rid the country of so called vermin why the f\/ck do the stuck up c\/nts that partake in the useless exercise class it as sport? I don't think that fox hunting would ever make it into the Olympic games do you? ;)

Yes its time people stopped this sort of crap. There is no place in the modern world for backward religions and cultures.

and theres the socialistically media driven mindless opinion i was on about, how many of you there used the words 'stuck up' and you can't see whats wrong with that

Foxes aren't the only animals hunted in this country, and as for fish getting let back in alive, yer a majority of the time mortally injured or missing an eye or their mouth destroyed so that they cant feed and starve to death. and that would concern me if I wasn't aware of the big picture. Circle of life & so on.

focusing on issues like this for so long is the reason this country is such a mess, and I'm not even gonna waste any more time commenting on it! While the real issues get quickly & quietly forgotten about. :(

LMFAO, I was only joking! :)

and SRRAE I beg to differ... there is a sport called ratting where they use jack russels, dachshunds and other various terriors. who then catch the rat and tear it apart.

Maybe if ratters were 'stuck up' certain people would have an opinion it too

I think it's a thankless job - Labour have done better than the Tories IMHO,

labour 'appear' to do a better jobs, they put more cash into the nhs and schools, but where do they get it from? they fooking borrow it!!!!!!!!!! when it comes to pay it back then taxes have to go up!! 2p rise on petrol anyone?

tossers

I also like the way one of the first things they did was hand over the control of interest rates to the bank of england, smart move, one less thing they can be blamed for when it increases, or are they so inept that they dsidnt trust themselves to do it?

Lets also get the police to put loads of speed cameras out there, that way each time someone is caught then its a crime that has been solved and hence it bumps the crime detection figures up a bit too.

they really do think we were born yesterday!!!

right then thats politics out the way, whose up for religion???

Some interesting points been raised here about being labelled racist when disagreeing about certain things.. too true.

And judging by the way the votings going I really dont rate Blairs chances!! thanks fook!

And well said it was too :) i agree totally.

Hunting is human instinct ,that's why we rule the planet!

If furry fox wants to survive he'd better get smarter! We had to.

Now , BNP or Tories... not sure yet.

LMFAO, yeah we are ruling and the smartest aren't we? NOT! More like we are killing everything with pollution and causing species to enter the extinction phase on a daily basis! Tigers are on their way out due to our superior hunting skills! We're f\/ckin' -A- Ok us aren't we? LMFAO :)

Oh well, when the next Ice age arrives or a meteorite wipes the smarty pants smile off our faces for doing such a good job of managing this rock we can rest assured that we did a good job and were obviously the smartest species! PMSL :) ;)

BNP still get my vote by the way, don't want to be accused of going off topic. ;)

god forbid anyone on this forum should go off topic .roflmao

Never mind foxes and fish, I reckon I should be issued with a silenced .22 and a couple of boxes of soft noses. Do some culling :)
