Where does everyone get their stickers from??? (i.e. brand names)

I'm actually in the process of sorting this out (as another product to add to the increasing DTA-Motorsport product line). Should be hearing back from the guy who's doing these for me by the weekend. I'm hoping to have a load of these done for Billing. Was thinking three colours: Black, White, Silver. What do you think? There's a small issue of copyright, etc which I need to get around but nothing is impossible so stay tuned!

 

By the way - did you fit the strut braces yet?

It's not copyright Danny its advertising FGS surely the people who sport these stickers on there Vehicles should be paid. If you went strait to the manufactures they may even provide you with official stickers free.

Know what you mean Mark - you'll never see any stickers on my car either - but people seem to want them ... I've contacted a few of the companies direct and none of them have a steady supply of decals - something which is very important and that has caused me great trouble in the past - so I'm going to to another (local) source. As for copyright -v- advertising, Nissan has explicitely refused me permission to use their "NISMO" logos and even "300ZX" was too much for them. I tried going down the advertising route but they were having none of it ...

If you know what you want try a Sign shop. My mate runs one and will do anything you want if you know the size. They can call up logos and do them, scan stuff in, theres no end to what can be done in plastic.

 

If youre sturggling for a shop then let me know as I'm sure my mate will do mail order.

PS Sure someone was doing the 300zx.co.uk stickers, but who was it????? Wouldnt they be able to knock a few out?? Have you tried James300 as he has em on his!!??

I've played with this idea, in fact I got as far as drawing up the logos ready for cutting as I have a vinyl cutter sitting right next to me, doing nowt. :D

 

But, as seems to be the way at the moment, I'm working 16hr days and there's no time for 'fun' stuff, and it doesn't look like that'll be changing for at least another month. :(

 

And it was me supplying 300zx stickers a while back, I think I still have a couple of sets lying around, i'll see what I have and they can go on a first come first served basis for the cost of postage.

I think mine were originally from you Tim, previous owner TonyC bought them I think - they're the best 300zx.co.uk ones :bow: Not keen on the recent solid letter ones.
