Right, this prob has been going on for a while now.
At slow speed all seems well, round town etc. On the motorway everything is ok, untill I put my foot down. Then it coughs, splutters and generally doesnt seem to want to do much, sounding very rough at the same time. Now this doesnt happen all the time, sometimes it will do this, sometimes it'll work properly, sometimes it'll do a little of both  Also if I keep my foot to the floor, it will build up slowly, but then the cat overheat light will come on. If I gently build up the preasure on the peddle, then I dont seem to have a problem
It was put on tony's ConZult at the last midlands meet, and it looked fine, it was sugested to clean the throttle bodies, which I finally got around to doing last Thursday. Now this seems to have improved it a little, but difficult to say for certain, as it is an intermitant fault.
So I'm thinking that the vibration of the engine whilst trying to accelerate, is vibrating a coil pack connector and stopping that spark plug from fireing, maybe??!! Coil packs, spark plugs or anyother connector hasnt been off yet. Also the Jap limiter is still on.
