Clutch bleeder on auto conversion

Where the bleeder goes on the drivers side wing, there are a few connectors mounted that obviously aren't there on a manual car.

What are they and can they be removed or do they need relocating.

The car has been in bits so long I can't remember what plugged into them.

I've left them on my car, as they dissapear down behing the drivers side headlamp. I just tucked them out of the way.

Their one end of the loom that goes to the autobox controller.

Aaaahh!

I haven't removed the controller yet so I might trace it back from there and see what I can remove.

I removed purely to stop the autobox light flashing up errors, it gets a bit upset when it can't find its gearbox!

I was going to take it out but haven't got that far yet.

Just trying to get it planned in my head.

Is the auto harness easy to remove?

You say it goes behind the headlight but does it go into the wing or something?

I've got the engine out so might be easy if it's all in the bay.

I'll have a look tonight.

It follows down the drivers side of the gearbox, plugs into the starter and then to the back of the alternator. (but your lumps out, so you've already seen that! :) ) It has three or four plugs behind the headlamp, just unplug them. Be aware that the manual alternator loom has a six pin plug and the auto an eight pin plug. you'll have to chop the auto one off and wire it up to your new manual loom.

Dead easy, just a bit mind bending looking at the wiring diags.

PM me on ben.wagg@lpa-ltd.co.uk if you need to pick me brains.
