Fitting UK Seatbelts

Had all the panels off the interior today trying to fit front UK spec belts, but when i went to mount the bolt on the pillar the actual hole for the bolt has no thread for the bolt to go into. This seems very strange as the rears have the thread in the hole to mount the UK rears.

 

Anyone got a clue as to how i'm going to be able to mount them ?
