Hey, who else could it be?!? grrr. :)

Well im glad to say ive nearly saved up enough for a decent bodykit from Luke, inc. a wings west front, supra-style spoiler, bonnet bulge and colour change (although dont know which one yet - and no black!! :D

just need to sort out my knackered suspension first :(

and no black!! :D

Would you pay for your zed to be any other colour?? :D

Gotta be black then.

dave have u had any quotes then to respray ur car?

how much for same colour and how much for colour change?

i totally agree, the colour of the car on the left looks great!!! :D

not had any quotes yet ya5 - im hoping for about a k. there's supposed to be a guy 'under the arches' (if u know where i mean) who can do it cheap but i'd rather have a good job done.

still stuck for ideas tho...

bayside blue... dark purple... cherry red...british racing green?!?

I fancy the color Alfa Romeo uses that an opaque bluey-silver-greeny color

I know who you mean mate, he's pretty good but i wouldnt if i was you.

Try REO paintworks in Oadby, I haven't got the number to hand but there in the yellow pages.

All the best

Rich:)

Agreed!! I was going to get my Manta painted a pearlescent silvery blue. Crashed it instead. :slap:

...or a 10-stage flip!  thanx for the reference Rich (oadby's just down the road to me as well  ), will give them a bell later on.

the colour i really like at the moment is the audi tt cloudy blue where you can swear you can see clouds in the reflection - even on a clear day!!!

defo try REO dave, i went ther to get accident damage qoute for my car (on rich's recommendation) and although its a small-ish place the guy defo knows what hes talkin bout and ul c some very nice cars going in and out of there. its kinda hard to find tho, its tucked away in th corner of a load of units off london road.

coming from city centre: left at turning literally in front of BP station then immediatly left again, go down th narrow street which turns right at th end and REO is on ur far left.

Just a word about the bonnet bulge, if you are after a low and wide look of the car I would maybe think about a different type of bulge.

With a bonnet bulge it kinda gives the car a narrower look.

See what I mean with this pic of Mine and Jaffa's.

Also think a flip would look nice but something different that no one else has, there's a few green/blue crosses out there on Z's already.

thats the bulge im after (ooer) - i think it looks great but i dont really notice any change in the rest of the car. maybe just me. always wanted a flip but the cost is just way way too much. still pulling my hair out about the colour, but need to sort bodykit out first, AFTER i sorted the suspension out. (does it never end?!?)

Just kinda butting in here while we're on the subject.... if thats ok?

If I want a "flip" paint job based on my current base colour (like red for me) isn't it much more economical than if I wanted to change it completely to say a blue green type flip.... thing....?

Am i just being a skin flint?

it is cheaper if you dont change colour because i think th base coat is a normal colour anyway then they add a coat of th semitransparent flip stuff
