You can buy"MIG WELDING TIPS"from any good welder supply store ,try and get some that are long,so you can fit a small jubi clip on each end ok.Start with 1.2 then 1.1 then 1. see what PSI your getting on each pair. You should be looking for 14.5 psi. They are dirt cheap to buy.For fitting do a search on Forum or http://www.twinturbo.com........hope this helps. You will need an aftermarket boost gauge tho as the stock one is shite.

you dont want boost jets .. full stop. Spend the cash and buy a boost controller!

bit dodgy thoes welding jets. need to have em done correctly or it will cost you your engine

read my write up here for boost jet info.

& FYI ive been running mine at 16psi on jets for 2 years now. as a daily driver

yea, done propery. If I am not mistaken they were fitted to a members car by an experianced member... and booom.

if they were done correctly, at a sensible level & something broke, then theres no reason why it wouldnt do the same if a boost controller was fitted instead!!

upping the boost pressure puts more stress on engine components no matter what way you do it. ;)

IF you are talking about Johns car they were fitted by an in-experienced member which is why it went boom

Just to echo what Paul has said there is nothing wrong with tips if fitted and set up correctly

With boost jets, do you need to do any other setting up on the car, other than a chip? Just making sure that it is around 14psi???
