Hi guys,

What the difference between jap and uk boost levels? I'm thinking that the Jap spec runs 9psi and the UK 14? Is that correct? So in theory is it ok for a Jap 300 to run 14psi without further modifications?

All models in stock form run 9psi (when healthy and not running in safety boost). If you want to increase the boost, then you'll need the ECU chipping then either fit boost jets or a boost controller...

Gah, that's not good Dave, sell it and get an S13, you know you wanna. :D :D

Its debateable whether there is any power difference. But it is probably just fuel mapping difference.
