Good value? tacky? and beacause it's carbon would I have to put in those big stupid horrible bonnet pins?

 

mines is midnight blue, so the black carbon one wouldnt look to bad, I have some laquer peeling on my bonnet which means a quick spray job or maybe summink like this.

 

I might go for this if not too many people go - 'omfg! get back to the fast and furious videos max power boy!' ;)

Yer I've seen carbon bonnets on Skylines that looked quite nice, but I didn't really think it would go on the Zed, partly because of the headlight panel, and that was the closest to the vented panel I found that looked like the red one in a previous post about 'twin sunroofs' that I like.

 

In fact I saw a 'lambo green' zed on here with a carbon bonnet and it was a bit 'eeewww'

See the missus just stopped me from going to work with a shirt that had a big dollop of curry down it! Potentially very embarrasing. (heh it was a black shirt too!)

Skylines need things like carbon bonnets etc. to stop them looking like very boring rep-mobiles (I know its a fantastic car - I just think they look like shit) The 300ZX is a beautiful looking car to begin with and doesn't need this sort of visual mod IMHO! :D

That would look good on a black car but not really on any of the other colours...

 

Midnight blue is too dark, so you've not got enough contrast to get away with it not matching, IMHO

What the point. The standard ally bonnet is really light and like Luke a the Z centre says,"if you want to lighten the car get rid of the passenger" Its much cheeper and far more effective.
