Anyone got a towbar fitted? Is there a commercially made product available?

Not enough room in the boot to take the garden rubbish to the tip.

heh,

actually, they were rock solid even at 80+, and petrol consumption wasn't affected in the slightest... it still sucked !!

and i did get a few funny looks as i overtook people....

but a hideaway towbar would be a handy feature..... for the jetskis and powerboat....

trailers and caravans be buggered.. buy a volvo !!! or a sierra estate

What I want to know is was the kids hurt in the accident, looking at the state of the bikes they must be in a bad shape!!!

Hi,

In the booklet that came in the glovebox of my Z32, it did list a roofrack as an accessory available when the car was new!

Hmm, well I've driven a Doggy Viper and I bet the caravan didn't upset the handling .... wink.gif

They are chuffin' fast in a straight line tho !

Apologies, just practicing inserting pictures (a new "skill" for me).

This is the exploded view referred above.

The following link may be of interest too, but a UK size number plate may present an additional problem. http://www.zhome.com/ZCMnL/PICS/hitch/hitch.html

I really have enjoyed Craig's pictures, and wonder if anybody has a picture of the 300ZX Roof Rack? I would love to see the picture, ....and the resulting comments!

Geoff

Geoff,

That link is excellent.

Neater than I could have imagined, no sign at all when removed.

I don't care what anyone says, a tow bar would be useful on ocassion :-P

Tim

the link is cool but something there is rather appealling......hinged plates. Hmmmmmm, I'm thinking how good it would be to have the hinges at the bottom and motorising the opening mechanism with a possible internal switch. Or have it automated when you go over...say...85mph. Anyone else smiling now????

Laterz,

Van
