I asked my girlfriend to help me steady the engine the other week as the crane was tending to lean to one side slightly. She shrieked "I can't do this I'm a woman" and let go of the chain. This was the result!! :-

I wasn't amused at the time but boy it was funny watching passing drivers' faces :eek: :eek: as they saw the V6 in the middle of the road!! Thankfully no damage was done (except to the wall!).

lol! Thankfully that's the duff engine. I know there's a lot of castles in Wales but I'm not that wealthy and never will be at this rate!!

No, we were lucky cos it was a sunny day and usually there's loads of kids about playing footy n stuff. Got to keep going out to warn them cos they sit on it and it's unsafe now. Must ring a brickie v soon!

thank fook it was the wall. My dozy woman got in my car, stuck it in reverce, gave it the "yea yea I can drive you know" floored it thinking ot wouldnt go anywhere.

 

Ended up the other side of the road up the pavement, freaked, got out, had a tizzzy and ran in doors.

 

Cost me £400 to sort out new tyres, tracking and traction controle arms.

 

NEVER agoan will she get anywhere other than the passenger seat.

My Misuss

 

Borrowed the balistic brick (RICA Volvo T5 Estate, as in the ones they used to race) to go to get some bedding plants. Drove back into yard and crashed staight into The Z.

"You know it wasn't her fault". Had nothing to do with not looking where she was going. :x:

 

I bet there's something wrong with that stupid engine hoist mate :mad:

Bl00dy hell. I never thought of that. That'll be the NEXT thing She does! She's already driven into the garage door. Thanks Mark - I'll ask next door if they'll let me rent their driveway!!!! I did actually hire a different hoist to put he engine back in and it was more stable.
