What does this mean pls say it could be somthing simple rather than fecked gear box.

auto? manual? sloppy? :confused:

You could try getting your shifter bushings changed (if its a manual) only cost a couple of quid and it firms up the knob :nelson:

rights its a manual and i mean gear stick feels sloppy while in gear can shake to left to right slightly and when out of gear just feels sloppy.

 

I was thinkin bout gettin a short shifter from Luke if i got it could it solve this problem or is the problem me from driving different cars all time i'm comparin it to my zimmer

Replace the bushes then as Dave suggested :)

btw, prepare for skinned knuckles, and make sure you put the gear stick back on the right way, else you will clump your knuckles every time you change into 1st, 3rd or fifth :)

I have some of these bushes in my front room as well as the two gaitors and the main metal plate beneath them - if you need the part numbers let me know & I'll post them on here later.
