Buying a Zed

Hi all

 

I've recently just sold my classic car as I need something a bit more usable on motorways. Anyway I've decided to get a zed. Due to the complexity of the car I'm a bit worried about finding a good one.

I've got about 7k to spend. Should I spend all this money or can I get a really good car for say £5k that way I'd have £2k in the bank if the worst came to the worst.

Also any advice anybody can give me when I go to see a car. Is there anything specific I need to be looking for?
