hi all, ive had my zed tt for about 1 1/2 years now and this has never happened before,

 

coming down a slip road today and booted it (auto, import, running on BP ultimate, straight through exhaust system) just about when the car kicks down the gears, wheel spin and then a few bangs and pops (backfiring), ease off the pedal, 5 mins down the road, try it agian and fine all the way home?

 

I don't know if it hit the rev limiter or not but slightly concerned as to why this happend,

 

can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Most likely you hit the limiter then just got some unburned fuel banging in the exhaust.

Not sure TBH. Might do if you spin the wheels up.

yes an auto will hit the limiter, especially easily with wheelspin
