What happens next?

well u all know what happened to my car on monday night

i have tpft insurance and all the details have been passed onto th solictors, and i should get th incident report form tomorrow. iv also had a letter from insurance company asking me to get two qoutes for repairs to the car.

now iv never been in this situation befor so y do thy need th quotes and wot do thy do with them?

if i get a 'high' quote will they right th car off?

if they wrote it off how much would i expect to get for an 89 tt auto import roughly? and would thy let me buy it back?

iv been to nissan already and th guy said thy dnt do imports cos it takes too long to get parts and he wdnt even be able to give me a quote.

any information at all would be great guys as i dnt know how it all works.
