Thats exactly what happened to mine, with the same damage.

 

New handle and lock barrel was about £90 from Nissan I think but it came ready painted which suprised me.

 

Only takes an hour to fit.

Hi Cos... de-lock, not de-handeling... will keep door handle, just block keyhole and dissasemble bellcrank mechanism behind it.

 

I have C/L linked to my alarm so never use key anyway. Will get in through the boot if battery ever fails.

Duhh - I automatically thought they'd done both handles cos I didn't wait to see all of both pics (till now!!). The trip went well thanks but took about 5 hrs (stopped for chips though in Walsall). Slept like a baby after that!!! Still haven't fitted that spoiler - too busy trying to fit the engine/box still!!
