Selling my Z.........Story so far....

A guy came to look at my Z and informed me that my propshaft is on it's way out.....

....any idea's on cost and who does it?

Basically the guy ripped my Z apart, even told me my electric mirrors were struggling....WTF...

£7k for a UK TT boosted to 340bhp Z, with SH....and receipts, any offers?

Look, sorry for 'ripping it apart'... but I came all the way from London being told it was in superb condition (autotrader ad) apart from a 'bubbling' rear spoiler.

As a former Z owner of a 300 on an 'H' plate like yours, I informed you of what was wrong with it, if you want me to post here I will, There's more to having a Z (or any car!!) than just having it's BHP increased!

The car in it's present state is not worth 7k.

And anyone who has seen it will tell you that.

Sorry Matt I really didn't rip it apart but everything that I said was true, you even saw and heard everything that I pointed out yourself!

I'm not some gumbie trying to rip you off, I just want to get a good car and I know what to pay for them.

If I wanted to get it cheaper I would have made you a cheaper offer. I didn't just told you what to get done and wished you all the best in selling it.

Yours etc,

matey.

pray tell me how you worked out his dodgy prop as i seem to have a noise like a whirrin that sounds like a worn prop bearing or possibly wheel bearing

Just for your information 'matey',

I did not have the power increased, as I told you the previous owner had the BHP increase done by Darren, I can only go by what he told me.

Granted your right about the spoiler and I told you that the brakes would need to be changed sooner rather than later, as far as I know that's all that's wrong with it.

Then to be told that, my electric mirrors 'struggle', the boost increase can't be as much as I say because "It doesn't go past +14psi" and my prop shaft is on it's way out because you can hear it.

I wish you all the best in your quest for the 'Perfect Z' but I must tell you that if you want a Z that is in perfect condition, stop looking at 10 year old Z's and look for one that has been stored for 9 and a half years with very, very low mileage...

Am not being funny or anything.

Take it easy.....

Look,

I didn't 'crash it'... was driven off the road, my insurance company has since recovered the loses from the 3rd party ie... it wasn't my fault!.. also being a member of the IAM does help my driving too.

Look guys, why are you treating this as an inquest and I'm the guily party? The guys car was not worth 7k,

Propshaft (?) will go soon, I had the exact same nasty 'wobble' on mine!

Dent on drivers side... I was told the car had superb bodywork. (autotrader ad)

Crack in front window.

Taped and cardboarded up section (under radio)

In the autotrader ad... the car had 'Full Leather' I just pointed out that it wasn't Full by any stretch.

Passenger door covering hanging off.

Bloody hell give me a break, anyone of you buying ANY CAR would point these things out.

I loved my Z which is why I'm searching for another one and was not willing to buy this car at any price with these things wrong with it.

matey

Dent?

more of a 'ping' anyway I'm past caring!

Hope you find the golden fleece which is the Z you dream of...

All the best matey

Timmy Lad,

This confuzzled me somewhat......I have leather seats and all that Jazz but he was under the impression that the door panels, glove box and centre panel should have been leather too....

...Did I miss something??

Wouldn't mind that bitch ass, niger, homey cocker spaniel seats!!

Any offers of a refurb?

LMAO..
