Firebond insurance quote...FAO SRRAE/Stuart

"VAN, you have to keep me posted about the Firebond classic insurance on the 91 UK TT. I have one."

Stuart,

Got my quote from Firebond today.....£1,450..arse. Bloody rip-off- hangon, I'm paying £1700 (Tesco) at the mo, d'oh. I'm changing to CIS, £1200. You have to bear in mind the following in my case;

1. No NCB ( had a slight crash with a cavelier in front whilst in traffic, in my Sunny at the time, phew...but then I didn't own a Z then so ...)

2. Car not garaged but kept on private drive.

3. I'm a youthful 31yr old ( unlike you old codgers ;-)

4. I'm Single (more prone to keeping eyes on ladies than road I guess and so more risks)

Best of luck tho' Stuart.

Laterz,

Van

For those of you that can, you usually get a discount for having yer Missus on the insurance - even if she's a raving lunatic like mine and has points and claims !!!

Thinking is that a female on the insurance is safer and a shared risk - they obviously haven't seen mine drive !!!!

Andy,

Did you not know.....Insurance companies are RUN by women m8 -). That's how they get us to include them on our insurance and of course....eventually we are persuaded into letting them drive our cars since they 'are insured to drive our sports car'.

Women are bloody good with their money and most wouldn't pay the high cost of sports car ownership.

Laterz,

Van
