Yeah that is true, a mate commented on how I nearly threw him through the windscreen the other day when I didnt really think they'd been that effective lol ;)

I guess once you start hiking the power up then you expect more of the brakes :) And I'm never really *that* confident with them for some reason.

New one has braided lines, grooved discs, working pistons, AMAZING how much more chuckable the car becomes!

........They also definitely need a bit of heat to get going - so driving around town they'll always be crap. I'd rather have crap brakes at 30mph than 100 tho!

And the other thing is they seem worse than most car brakes because you drive the Z harder than most cars.

I agree with this, the brakes on my car are good at 30 but better at 100+

I'm just about to replace the discs, though coz I have warped them........

.......they've shown signs of warpage since a very hard stop from almost 150 :x: Got loads of smoke from the pads too, lol....

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

How much the MO FO has cost me since day one! LOL

I have to give the daily driver brakes a bit of a rest at about 60mph when stopping from 120. ;) Z just... stops!

I've got the kit organised by Paul Arundale (ArundaleP) but as I have a UK car it's not essential. The kit cost me £165ish but if you want it I'll sell it for £150 inc postage...

Let me know mate...
