After having lot's of fun clearing out my front indicators can anybody tell me where I can get these clear bulbs as I really don't fancy having an amber bulb in the indicator.

You know the thing where you take the orange part out, mine seems to be orange plastic rather than an orange cover inside. Is that due to different spec?

It is orange plastic .. thick stuff as well. You will need a good pair of snippers to cut out the plastic. Not really a job to rush as it is so easy to scratch the mirror finish, but well worth the effort.

 

Ohh and if you use a soldering iron like I did to make a start on the orange lenses be really carefull you don't mess up the indents where the bulbs clip into the light housing.

Well the plan was to fly out to LA on Sunday 16th, but my girlfriend has become very ill so I might have to go to the airport tomorrow to wait for an available flight - won't know how bad she is until the tests come back tonight.

mine doesnt seem to have a coloured plastic insert....seems to be a solid orange section
