Craig - Q about this server

What type of connection is this server running from / where do you host it?

Setting up a couple of servers myself at the moment.

Featured Replies

this server is running on 10M, into 1Gig, then into LINX.

currently hosted at XO (formerly GX) as i used to work there

if it goes down anytime, then i have been sussed and am moving it somewhere else wink.gif

they provide good connectivity and service to paying customers wink.gif not the cheapest around though, but you get what you pay for

Is that the reason for the limited space for rides - it's hidden on someone elses drive? LOL

I'm getting my ADSL changed to static IP next week and i'm going to try running a web server amongst other things from that.

Only 256K upload and contended so not sure if it will be much use...only expecting 1 or 2 users at a time at most though.
