I'm going to replace the std stereo in my Jap 300.

I'm afraid someone will break in to nick it cos it's got no face off etc.

 

Any recommendations?

 

ps. The Japanese must be great if no-one nicks stereos!

They will struggle in a Zed as the stereos are screwed in not just clipped in like in most cars, but theyll probably make a mess of it trying.

 

I got a load of new headunits in today at work, and was particularly impressed with the new sony CDXR7500 at £299 or the panasonicCQ cant remember the number (blue thing, mororised front and face off at £249.

 

Glad i get them shed loads cheaper than that tho!!!

 

At the moment ive got a sony Active black thing cost a lot years ago but its a bit old hat now, im looking to update too, not bothered if the face comes off or not but deffo want another motorised front one.

I've got an Alpine CDA-7893R and it really is the dogs, it's a year old now but the relacement model (unsure of number) is just as good as a mate has it in his piece of french w*nk that is a citeron.

LOL, yeah Alpine's are a bit like your bird, not the best to look at but she give's great head..........LOL. :bow:

I like the head unit to have no buttons but seeing all the new ones today makes me want a new one.

I've been advised not to go for the ones on Ebay as the tuning range doesn't complement the UK stations as effectively, and you don't benefit from the RDS with the tuner.

That looks bland, You'll be trading the zed in for something a bit more "functioal" next Justin!!!!

 

Anyway I dont care about the sound, i just want lots of fancy flashing lights and dancing displays.....AND NO BUTTONS!!!! That pie on ear is covered in them!!!
