take the anti glare shield off. look in behind the clocks there will be a black box alittle bigger than a match box spliced in.

HTH

Surely its a 300kph clock, not mph, even maccas cant do that speed!!!

I like my speedo best, its a Jap clock with an MPH conversion face on it, which makes the acceleration look much better!!!!! Plus you can go off the clock too, making it feel faster, and after all once its over 110 you only need a rough figure of the speed your doing cos 1. You are buggered if you get caught. 2 if you crash it will either hurt or die. and 3 you dont really have time to look at that speed!!!!

yeah 300mph is a pain as the needle don't move that much and a pain when your near speed traps

Also when you go over 158mph, the cameras don't work!!!!!

Thats a myth. Did you never see a MR Clarkson test that theory out on a certain motoring program.

1. Cameras are in accident hotspots (supposedly) so is it really a good idea to do almost 160? I think not.

2. Some cameras i am sure have a limit but the one Mr C tested, if i remember correctly, could catch anything up to about 190 ish.

Im not gonna test the theory because.... (im gonna number them again!!)

1. I dont want to.

2. I dont have any turbos on my z :( and top out at a little under 150. so im screwed whichever way.

Mines got a 300mph speedo (in miles). On normal speedos wjen the needle is pointing straight up your doing about 60 - 70mph, on this your doing 180mph!!!!!!!

LOL dint you know its illegal to have a faulty speedo. Goes to show some MOT are crap lol.

I had a MOT accepted 3 years ago on another car and 2 days later I went into a parked car as the breaks failed. The brake fluid resevoir had a leak which had not happened over night and they should have spotted it. the MOT station got a slapped ass. Mind you it was either the parked toyota corola or the TVR

Hmm my speedo only goes upto 110mph. Its pants :(

Same here :(

I've got 180mph on my UK car and my needle goes bonkers and flutters all over the place when I go over 120mph.

The speedo has read the speed limits correctly (30,40,50,60,70) to be road legal but I've never known of an mot station to check. Clarkson found a gatso could read up to 170, above that, it won't see you (as a TVR tuscan R proved!)
