Hello All,

I have just got my very first Nissan 300ZX. It's a Japanese import 3ltr V6 None turbo version, a Fairlady Z. I love it. My last car was a 200SX and I just had to upgrade.

The sit looks quite informative so I should be poping on adn off here a fair bit. So far, So good.

I have no pix of the car yet, I will get some on here ASAP.

Hello mate, welcome to the site!

As your Z is an import, the cruise won't work over

60mph (100kms). There are 2 switches, one to the

right next to the rear window heater (this turns it on)

The other on the steering wheel sets the cruise when

you press the button.

Hope this helps.

You walking to them now

its all better now..... well apart from the turbo issue

Hi Chas.

I just got rid of my 200SX (S13) and got a N/A Jap 300ZX too.

It rocks. And don't listen to the 'oooh, it hasn't got a turbo'-brigade. If 220bhp isn't enough, there's aways nitrous.

Now, I thought that the non turbo version would be better, if I fitted a turbo to it now and bunged on a NoxBox it would fly!! :) Joking, it scares the brown adrenalin out of me as it is...

I'm in Groby Ya5een.

Hello matey, I only got my Z a month ago, the club is really helpful and informative. Been a great help so far.

Mine is an import and my cruise works at all speeds even 100 mph onwards.

Just letting you know, its an auto btw!

Mines an import, cruise works fine over 60 mph

John

Well, I have just been out in it, (its and auto too) and I'm doing 35-40mph, so I switch on the CC (the green light comes on), then pulled the leaver to set it and took my foot of the gas to see if it kicked in....nothing, the car just decelerated as it would if the CC was off., I even moved the leaver to accelerate and nothing happened...Is the CC stuffed and if so how can I fix it or will it have to go to a garage.

Hmmm, i did read somewhere that there is a ''Bypass''

that can be done to enable the CC to work at higher

speeds, perhaps this has been done to yours?

Mines an auto, but the CC won't work over 60mph
