OK, I've downloaded and run it. It found a couple of 'diallers' and a few 'traces', but MY SYSTEM HAS NOW ALMOST GROUND TO A SHUDDERING HALT!!???! You know the 'click' sound when you select a link? Well that sound is now about 5 seconds long, and it take about a minute for my mouse arrow to get from the top of the screen to the bottom. I've done a thorough 'scan-disk' (no errors) and I've also defragged my hard drive, and re-booted god knows how many times. When I close the 'sweeper' my system returns to normal. Any ideas?

Cheers

Neil

Don't sound good fella, my system runs fine with no problems, I leave it running in the back ground.......

.....no problems at all.

What OS are you using?

Matty.

It's on ORIGINAL Windows '98  It's the firms PC at work, and I only use it for MS Office type stuff (and surfing). The IT bods at head office figured I didn't need an upgrade :( but then they are the DIMMEST load of Brummie Fackwits I've ever encountered!! (...errr I don't know what that could be. Can you get someone local to look at it? or you'll joost have to put up wid it :xxx:  )

No probs, I'll uninstall it. At least it got rid of the few it found on the system.

Cheers!! :)
