For all those thinking of getting a new phone or simply upgrading can I recommend the new sharp GX30

Only downside I can find is infrared and blueetooth seem to be limited to a headset and pc only - so no phone to phone functions unless you send via mms or summit.

I just got an Orange SPV E200 and I have to say, the quality of the camera is outstanding compared to any nokia I've seen (that aint difficult tho LOL). Awesome little phone - Eric, any plans on porting conZult to Smartphones? LMAO :D

My P900 is a bit of a Jack of All Trades, camera isn't too bad either...

Deliberate ploy IMHO, it's so you have to pay for ring tones, pictures etc. I have seen some firmware for Nokia's that enable this function. Not sure I would risk a 3rd party firmware though.

mmm, pisses me off when its advertised as bluetooth then when you get it you find out its only bluetooth to a headset.

A friend of mine just got one of these and it is very good.

Explains why after loads of messing about last night I couldn't get a bluetooth connection!

yep - and afaik the infra-red is crippled to only work with a pc too - not another phone.

 

look past that tho and its one hell of a phone.

 

saves carrying me camera everywhere too :)

The GX-30 should be a good phone. I've had the GX 10 and presently have a GX 20. My signature picture is taken and edited on the GX 20

I've got Nokia 6600, loads of software around for it, cam and viedo, bloody good bluetooth & infared,32meg men card but u can up grade it ,now u can get 1gig for it, you can even upload media video on ,including porn for those shit days in the office

Its not hard to beat the Nokia camera quality. I have seen toliet roll cameras better quality than Nokia phone cameras

Nice pic, you'd be hard pressed to tell it came from a phone....

i've got a cheap and cheerful sagem my-x6 which does the job nicely for me.

Ive got an SPV (the first one) thinking of getting the new SPV now as ive had no probs with it and its got windows tinternet so I can have porn on the move!!! :)

 

Picture quality isnt too great on it but im hoping the E200 will be better, what i realy want is one with a flash so you can get birds in nightclubs with it!!!!

 

Another problem with mine is when i take a picture of my car it reproduces it in miniture form aswell.
