I picked my ZX on sunday and done a compresion test the results are below

 

1= 118

2= 118

3= 120

4= 125

5= 120

6= 120

 

Are these results normal all the above are measured in PSI

standard is 185psi

 

Lowest recomended value I believe is 140psi or there abouts.

 

least they are all roughly the same.

Those results do look a little on the low side - as Stuart says though they are all pretty much the same which is (kind of) a good sign.

 

One question though - was the test done with the engine warm or cold??? Were the other spark plugs in the engine? Was the battery in its fully charged state?

 

All these will affect the readings....

You got standard pistons? are you TT or NA?

very weird - i'm going to guess that that is a good result on a weird test, if your are going to loose compression you would normally expect to see it on 5 and 6 - if those results are true she would probably have driving issues and be well down on power

 

if everything seems ok whn driving i would guess that it is.
