Need new front Pads.

Any recommendations or do i just buy Nissan??

Anything of better value.

What will the damage be.

Easy job??

lots of different opinions on pads out there the one conclusion that most people have reached are that stock pads are not up to the job.

 

do a search as this was covered quite extensively about a week ago , pound for pound I think the best you can get are porterfields , I have yet to hear anybody have a bad word to say about them , unlike EBC etc

 

Smithy in the traders section would be your best bet for these

I could not see paying well over £100 just for brake pads for street use, but I was looking for something maybe a bit better than the Nissan pads, which seam to kick out a lot dust. I went for semi-metallic pads from Mike @ MJP (see traders section) about £70 with vat & postage. I also got a Nissan caliper repair kit £42, as it seamed the inside pistons were extremely tight, the inside pads were not as worn as the outside.
