...underneath where the main throttle-body pipes attach, there's a couple of little ones. On the left (looking from the front) it attaches from the left. The right one pushes on from straight on. Anyone know what they're for? Mine keep blowing off if I run a decent amount of boost... which is a bit worrying seeing as I haven't got a cam-belt cover

LOL just tie wrap them so they are tighter - common problem ;)

Pass side one is for the carbon canister purge and the one on the drivers side is EGR vac feed I think...

Simon, show me a picture and I will tell you what they are;)

Oh and for GOD SAKE fit a timing cover

Well, when I pointed it out to Pete (SE), he just said: they're for something you haven't got any more(!). But it doesn't seem right just leaving a pair of hoses dangling over the cam belt. EGR makes sence. Carbon canister purge?! :) How come they're blowing off if they're not in use? I'll get some zip-ties on them anyway. Cheers guys.

Mac - not got my camera handy at the moment. Not to worry tho, eh?

If they're not used they need capping!!! Carbon canister is for the evaporative control system for the fuel tank ;) If the hoses are off and aren't capped, you WILL have a boost leak...

Understood. Which end needs capping? The bit under the TB, or the other end? Maybe they've already capped it further down causing these little pipes keep blowing off? Dunno. It'd probably look nicer if I just zip-tied them where they should be. Probably less risk of something fraying the cam-belt like that too.
